Each year, UCP Heartland administers an annual Climate Survey to assess the employees’ beliefs, interactions, behaviors, and attitudes that all shape how they see their work environment. Survey results are reviewed by the DEI Council and leadership, resulting in recommendations to implement for a better overall employee work experience.

- Explore Employee Resource Group options suitable to expressed desires of the survey respondents
- Support a 2023 spring event that educates attendees on the value-added benefit of an inclusion-based topic (e.g., disability inclusion and employee engagement)
- Develop a UCP Heartland Heritage/Diversity calendar reflective of its workforce
- Establish a community connection(s)
