Dear Friends of UCP Heartland,
October 2024
Dear Friends of UCP Heartland,
Hopefully this email arrives at a time when you are enjoying the early parts of Fall and some cooler temperatures. It is certainly what I believe to be the best time of the year in Missouri. A time of reflection as UCP Heartland closes the books on FY24 and begins their journey on what will surely be another great year for our clients. You may have heard, Clint Bolser recently announced he would be accepting a CEO position with an organization in Indiana. We are excited to see Clint continue to grow in his career and the ability this role gives him to be closer to family. We want to thank Clint for his leadership over the past five years at UCP Heartland and wish him the best in his future role!
The UCP Heartland Board of Directors is excited about the future of the organization. The Executive Committee has engaged with an external search firm and are in the process of selecting the new CEO. We hope a new CEO announcement will happen in the month of December. In the meantime, the UCP Heartland Board of Directors has designated Lori Burch as the Interim CEO until a successor has been named. Lori has been with UCP for more than 7 years with extensive experience as a CFO for UCP Heartland and other organizations in both non-profit and for-profit sectors. The board has full confidence in Lori and the existing leadership team to continue to move the mission forward and continue to create positive impact to individuals and families in St. Louis and Central Missouri. I know all of you will continue to support UCPH, Lori, and the entire leadership team as they work through this transition. The organization is in good hands.
We want to thank you for your unwavering commitment and support of UCP Heartland and should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected].

Donor Difference
We are grateful for our loyal donors. With your kindness and generosity, UCP Heartland will continue to push for the social, legal, and technological changes that increase accessibility and independence, while providing the extraordinary care to children and adults living with differing abilities. Together, we can be a stronger voice in representing the needs and rights of people living with disabilities.
